Why a Payslip must be legalized before use in Macau
The Payslip is a financial document issued by a Thai authority. When presented in Macau, the receiving officer needs proof that both the document and the signing officer's seal are authentic. This process is called legalization — not just translation, but a chain of seals, signatures and consular attestation.
For Macau: the MFA step may be waived in limited cases. Then it must be stamped at the Embassy of Macau in Bangkok. We re-check destination requirements every two weeks to stay ahead of policy changes.
