Why a Payslip must be legalized before use in Côte d'Ivoire
The Payslip is a financial document issued by a Thai authority. When presented in Côte d'Ivoire, the receiving officer needs proof that both the document and the signing officer's seal are authentic. This process is called legalization — not just translation, but a chain of seals, signatures and consular attestation.
For Côte d'Ivoire: the MFA step may be waived in limited cases. Then it must be stamped at the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire in Bangkok. We re-check destination requirements every two weeks to stay ahead of policy changes.
