How is Notary different from MFA?
MFA legalisation is a state-to-state certification for foreign government recipients. Notary Public certification is a private-sector attestation by a licensed attorney, accepted by parties who recognise notarised documents — universities, employers, private companies, UK Home Office (in some cases), USCIS (on selected forms), and any foreign filing that does not demand the full legalisation chain.

When to use Notary instead of MFA
When the receiving party explicitly requires a 'Notarized copy' or 'Attested by a Notary Public' — typical for graduate school applications (Harvard, Oxford, NUS, ANU, etc.), foreign private-sector employment, foreign bank account opening, offshore real estate transactions, and foreign company incorporation. Conversely, if the recipient is a government body (visa, immigration, licensing), you need MFA + embassy legalisation — Notary alone is not accepted.

Yes. NSA seals from Lawyers-Council-registered attorneys are recognised under both common-law and civil-law jurisdictions, unless the recipient specifically demands MFA/Apostille.
Do I need to come to your office?
For Signature Witnessing or Sworn Statement — yes, you must sign in front of the notary. Certified True Copies can be handled by courier.
Can I add MFA after Notary?
Yes. Our notarial format is drafted so MFA can affix an Apostille immediately afterward — ideal for use in Hague member countries.
What does one document cost?

Does UK Home Office accept Thai Notary?
